Tonto Dikeh Warns TikTok Impersonators, Threatens Legal Action

Abuja – Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a stern warning to individuals impersonating her on social media, particularly on TikTok, vowing to pursue legal action against anyone found scamming her fans.

The movie star disclosed that a woman has been posing as her on TikTok, allegedly extorting money from unsuspecting followers while falsely presenting herself as the actress.

In a video broadcast shared online, Dikeh said investigations are already underway and security agencies have been alerted to track down the suspect.

“I know my impersonator is a girl because we have been trailing you, the police are on you,” she said.

Addressing the alleged impersonator directly, the actress added, “To the girl who is impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money from people, scamming people and also scamming me because you are taking my contents and posting on your TikTok page not as a fanpage, but posing to be me.”

Dikeh warned that once the suspect is apprehended, she would ensure the matter is fully prosecuted, regardless of public sympathy or online pressure.

“I just want to tell you that when I catch you, nobody is going to save you. Only Jesus will save you. Because I’m not the kind of person that social media would make me back down. You will definitely go to jail,” she said.

The actress urged fans to verify accounts and avoid sending money to anyone claiming to represent her on social media.
