Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan delivered a sensational performance on Sunday at the 2025 Rabat Diamond League, clinching victory in the women’s 100m hurdles with a meet record of 12.45 seconds. The time not only marked her season’s best (SB) but also eclipsed the previous meet record of 12.51 seconds set by American Brianna McNeal in 2018.
The 2022 World Champion and world record holder stormed out of the blocks and maintained a clear lead, finishing well ahead of her competitors just before the main broadcast of the meet began.
