Tinubu/Shettima campaign youth leader abducted in Zamfara
Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted Bashir Isa Gusau, the Zamfara State Youth Leader of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign organisation, in Gusau town, Zamfara State.
The abduction was disclosed on Thursday by a security analyst, Bakatsine, in a post shared on social media. According to the post, the attackers stormed Gusau’s residence and took him away in the presence of his wife.

Bakatsine alleged that more than 30 armed men invaded the home before whisking the youth leader away, leaving his family in distress.
He said security agencies were immediately alerted after the incident, but efforts to locate the victim have so far been unsuccessful.
Security agencies yet to respond
Reacting to the incident, Bakatsine questioned the continued wave of violent attacks in the state, lamenting that no positive response had been received despite notifying security operatives.
“Gunmen suspected to be bandits abducted Ambassador Bashir Isa Gusau, North-West Youth Leader of Tinubu/Shettima, Zamfara Chapter. Over 30 armed men stormed his home in Gusau and abducted him in the presence of his wife. Security agencies were alerted, but there has been no trace of him yet,” he wrote.
As of press time, there was no official statement from security authorities regarding the abduction.
