President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shared details of his recent discussions with Flutterwave, emphasizing efforts to drive Nigeria’s economic growth.
In a statement released on his official X account on Sunday, Tinubu revealed that his meeting with the management teams of Flutterwave and Alami Capital at the presidential villa over the weekend focused on strengthening Nigeria’s digital economy.
He reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment by removing obstacles that hinder growth.“Together, we’re eliminating barriers so businesses can thrive,” Tinubu stated.
He highlighted Nigeria’s ambition to become a global fintech leader, pledging support for homegrown digital platforms to boost job creation, economic diversification, and solidify Nigeria’s status as Africa’s largest economy.“To all fintech innovators: Nigeria is ready to back your vision. Our goal is to see Nigerian products and services in every home across Africa,” he added.
