President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service.
The announcement was made in Abuja on Wednesday by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF).
The newly appointed officials are Mr. Adeladan Olarinre, representing Oyo State, and Mr. Mukhtar Muhammed, representing the North-West geopolitical zone.
According to Olotu, the appointments were based on a rigorous and transparent selection process, reflecting the administration’s commitment to meritocracy, excellence, and competence in the civil service.
She emphasized that the new Permanent Secretaries are expected to leverage their experience and expertise to enhance public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda.
The HCSF, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack, praised President Tinubu for his dedication to upholding transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism in the civil service. She noted that these appointments reaffirm the administration’s commitment to building a competent and results-driven public service that effectively serves the Nigerian people.
