Abuja, March 27, 2025– President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new members to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in a move aimed at strengthening local content development in the oil and gas sector.
The announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, via a statement on Thursday. Onanuga emphasized that the appointments are part of Tinubu’s efforts to reinforce NCDMB’s capacity to enhance indigenous participation in the petroleum industry.
New NCDMB Board Members
The newly appointed members, replacing previous representatives from various organizations, include:
- Olusegun Omosehin – Representing the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)
- Wole Ogunsanya – Representing the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN)
- Sam Azoka Onyechi – Representing the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF)
- Owei Oyanbo – Representing the Ministry of Petroleum Resources
