Ayo Omidiran Takes Over as FCC Chairman
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Ayo Hulayat Omidiran, a former House of Representatives member, as the new Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
Omidiran replaces Dr Muheeba Dankaka, whose tenure faced multiple controversies.
Mohammed Musa Named FCC Secretary
Alongside Omidiran’s appointment, Tinubu named Mohammed Musa as the Commission’s secretary and retained Kayode Oladele (Ogun State) as a commissioner.
Oladele, also a former federal lawmaker, served as the Commission’s acting chairman after being appointed by President Tinubu in 2024.
