Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his condolences to the family of the late former Oyo State Governor, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, over the passing of their first child, Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi.
In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu described the loss as tragic and shocking.
He also sympathized with Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the widow of the late governor, as well as the deceased’s husband, Mr. Idris Kola-Daisi, urging the family, friends, and associates to find solace in God.
A Life of Service
TheWatch.NG previously reported that the late Bisola Kola-Daisi was serving as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Sen. Atiku Bagudu, before her untimely passing.
Sanwo-Olu emphasized the pain of losing a loved one, noting that while the loss is irreparable, the family should take comfort in the legacy of a well-lived life.
“I sympathize with former Oyo State First Lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the widower of the deceased, Mr. Idris Kola-Daisi, and the entire Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families over this heartbreaking loss,” he stated.
The governor prayed for eternal rest for the deceased and strength for her family to bear the loss, while also hoping for an end to such tragedies within the family.
