Rome, March 23, 2025 – Pope Francis was discharged from Gemelli Hospital today after a five-week hospitalization for pneumonia.
The 88-year-old Pontiff made a brief public appearance from a hospital balcony, sitting in a wheelchair and waving to a crowd of well-wishers gathered below.
