Sarah Martins Collapses, Hospitalised for Exhaustion
Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has been hospitalised after collapsing due to extreme exhaustion.
The actress shared her ordeal on Instagram, explaining that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and momentarily feared she was lifeless. She continued to work at her shop, conducting inventory and staff interviews, before slumping and being taken to the hospital.
Medical Tests All Negative
Doctors conducted more than 30 medical examinations, including checks for cancer, fibroid, kidney and liver function, malaria, and typhoid, all of which returned negative results.
Martins wrote:
“Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body. For a second, I felt lifeless… All through December, I worked every single day… No days off, no stretches, no nothing… just a walking corps working tirelessly to cater for others, forgetting myself.”
She said medical personnel advised complete rest and expressed gratitude for her recovery, stating:
“I am typing this from a sick bed, but I will be fine because the God that protects the vulnerable kids I struggle for will never fail me.”

Fans and colleagues have sent prayers and well-wishes to Martins, hoping for her swift recovery as she follows doctors’ advice to rest.
