The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored electricity to parts of the country affected by a blackout on Wednesday.
According to TCN spokesperson Ndidi Mbah, the outage occurred at 11:34 a.m. due to a trip on the Omotosho–Ikeja West 330kV transmission line while maintenance was ongoing on the Benin–Egbin line. The disruption affected power supply in Lagos, Abuja, and Osogbo.
TCN confirmed that the issue has been resolved, and normal electricity supply has resumed. The company reassured Nigerians of its commitment to maintaining grid stability.
