Naira dips at official market
The Naira weakened against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, marking the second decline in three days. Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) showed the currency dropped to N1,420.69 per dollar, down from N1,419.35 recorded on Wednesday, reflecting a loss of N1.34 on a day-to-day basis.
Black market gains
At the black market, the Naira strengthened slightly, gaining N3 to close at N1,490 per dollar on Thursday, compared to N1,493 on Wednesday. The past three days have shown mixed movements, with both gains and losses across trading platforms.
