The Naira appreciated on Tuesday in the official market, trading at ₦1,491.67 per dollar.
According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) website, the currency gained ₦7.31, marking a 0.48% increase from ₦1,498.98 per dollar recorded on Monday.
Since December 2024, the Naira has maintained relative stability against the dollar, driven by ongoing reforms by the CBN. These reforms aim to enhance transparency in the foreign exchange (FX) market and strengthen the currency’s performance.
