According to her post, the child had been ill for some time, showing symptoms including persistent vomiting and nonstop crying.
She said she initially took the child to a hospital where medication was prescribed, but the condition did not improve. After returning to the hospital, doctors conducted further tests, including an HIV test, which returned positive.
The woman disclosed that she also underwent testing and received a negative result. She added that her husband and their other two children also tested negative.
“I’m in pain… my heart is breaking,” she wrote, questioning how the virus could have been contracted by the toddler alone.
