A tragic incident occurred in the Ogidan Sangotedo area of Lagos on May 6, 2025, when an argument over right of way escalated into a violent confrontation that left one man dead. The altercation, which took place at a local lounge, saw the victim punched in the chest, causing him to collapse.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the altercation began as a disagreement over right of way but quickly turned violent when the suspect, identified as 46-year-old Philip Ogbuehi, struck the victim with a punch. The victim, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, lost consciousness immediately.
