Famous Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has revealed why she and Nigerian music executive Paulo have no plans to marry. In a recent interview on TVC, the actress shared that while they have a strong bond, their relationship is not centered around marriage. Instead, they are content with their current arrangement, valuing their personal space and privacy.
Iyabo explained that both she and Paulo are workaholics, with busy careers that often demand their full attention. She mentioned that she sometimes needs to spend time alone, packing her bags and retreating to her own home. Paulo respects this need for space, and they have never had issues with it. According to Iyabo, their focus is on enjoying each other’s company without the pressures of marriage.
The actress confirmed her relationship with Paulo back in December 2022, during her 45th birthday celebration, but she has made it clear that marriage is not in the cards for them.
