Canadian musician Grimes has publicly criticized her ex-partner, Elon Musk, for allegedly ignoring their child’s urgent medical concerns.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, pleaded with Musk to address the situation to prevent potential lifelong health consequences for their child.
Her appeal comes amid ongoing co-parenting tensions between the two, reigniting discussions about Musk’s personal life and parental responsibilities. Grimes claimed the billionaire entrepreneur had repeatedly ignored her attempts to communicate, despite the seriousness of the matter.
“I’m sorry to do this publicly, but it’s no longer acceptable to ignore this situation because it requires immediate attention,” she wrote. “If you don’t want to talk to me, can you please designate or hire someone who can so we can move forward on solving this? This is urgent, Elon.
”She further alleged that Musk had failed to respond to calls, texts, and emails and had skipped every scheduled meeting regarding their child’s condition.“Our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he does not respond ASAP. So I need him to respond, and if I have to apply public pressure, then I guess that is where we are at,” she stated.
