Father Demands Justice After Twin Infants Die Following Routine Immunisation in Lagos

Father Alleges Twins Died After Routine Immunisation in Lagos

A Lagos father, Samuel Alozie, known as Promise Samuel on TikTok, is calling for justice after his nine-month-old twin sons, Timothy and Testimony, reportedly died within 24 hours of receiving routine immunisations at the Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre in Ojo Local Government Area.

Alozie shared a video on TikTok showing the twins’ bodies in separate body bags, captioning: “This is the result of the immunisation… they killed my twin boys with injections.”

Twins Fell Seriously Ill After Vaccination

According to Alozie, he took the twins for scheduled immunisations on the morning of December 24, 2025. He said the infants became extremely weak shortly after the injections, refusing to eat or play.

Despite giving the twins paracetamol and bathing them to reduce fever, as advised by the attending nurse, the children passed away the following morning, December 25.

Alozie recalled in the video: “On the 24th, after the injection, they were very weak. I gave them paracetamol because the nurse said that if the temperature continued, I should give them paracetamol… How can I lose two children, identical twins, that I have suffered so much for?”

Allegations Against Health Centre Staff

The father alleged that the health centre may have administered expired or fake vaccines or given an overdose. He also claimed that the nurse attending the twins on that day was not the usual staff and that deworming tablets were given to the nine-month-olds without his consent.

“You gave them worm medicine, and you didn’t ask me, and you didn’t even tell me… Did I tell you that my children are having worm problem?” Alozie said.

Rejection of Alternative Explanations

The health centre reportedly suggested that food contamination may have caused the deaths. Alozie rejected this, stating the twins had been healthy since birth and had no history of serious illness.

“How can food bacteria kill a child? Food that I’ve been giving them from one month to nine months didn’t kill them. How is it possible?” he asked.

Call for Legal and Public Support

Alozie expressed concern that autopsy results could be manipulated and appealed for legal assistance, citing financial constraints.

“Please, if you’re a lawyer, a human rights lawyer, please help me. I don’t have a lawyer, and you know government issue… Although the autopsy has been conducted already, I’m scared it might be manipulated,” he said.

He also urged public support, emphasizing the need for accountability: “If I don’t have finance, I have people… I need justice for these children. I have buried them, but I know that their spirit is still not at peace because they died untimely deaths, and their death was caused by the government. I don’t have anybody except God, but I know that God will bring justice to them.”

Lagos Health Authorities Yet to Respond

As of now, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Board have not released an official statement regarding the incident or the findings of the autopsy.
