The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned the member representing Egor Constituency, Natasha Irobosa, to appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee within one week.
According to the Assembly, Irobosa must defend herself over allegations of misconduct that have sparked public attention and controversy.
Speaker: ‘Her Conduct Dragged the House in the Mud’
During plenary on Tuesday, Speaker Blessing Agbebaku condemned the lawmaker’s recent actions, which have gone viral on social media.
“This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud,” he said.
“Hon. Natasha has been trending for the wrong reasons, and her behaviour has brought disrepute to this Assembly.”
Agbebaku confirmed that the committee’s findings will be submitted within two weeks.

A separate viral video shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam showed 2Baba being handcuffed by police in the UK.
Officers were seen speaking with him outside a retail store before escorting him away.
