The Benue State House of Assembly has voted to remove Hon. Justice Maurice Ikpambese from his position as Chief Judge amid allegations of financial misconduct and abuse of office. In addition, the Assembly has mandated that the next most senior judge be sworn in as acting Chief Judge while an investigation into these allegations is underway.
