Ashabi Simple Reveals Details Behind Portable Arrest
Nollywood actress Ashabi Simple, known for her roles in popular Nigerian films and as the ‘baby mama’ of singer Habeeb Okikiola (Portable), has opened up about why she had the musician arrested.
In a shocking account, Ashabi said the confrontation escalated during the holiday season after Portable approached her family, threatening them with a firearm. The actress described the incident as violent, saying her siblings were attacked and her brother still bears a scar from the altercation.
Allegations of Violence and Threats
According to Ashabi, Portable became increasingly aggressive, demanding to take all their phones while performing incantations that no one could understand. She further detailed:
“Portable threatened us with an axe, slapped me, pushed my sister, and punched my brother in the face,” she said.
The singer allegedly confronted her family at their home during the holidays, heightening fears for their safety.
The actress said these actions forced her to involve law enforcement, resulting in Portable’s arrest.
