Air Peace Kicks Off London Heathrow Flights, Slashes Round-Trip
Air Peace Airlines officially commenced direct flight operations to London Heathrow Airport on Sunday, marking a major milestone for Nigerian aviation. As part of the launch, the airline announced a bold fare reduction round-trip tickets from Nigeria to London starting at just ₦1 million, effective August 2025.
With this move, Air Peace becomes the first Nigerian airline to offer direct services to both Heathrow and Gatwick from Abuja, expanding its footprint in the competitive international aviation space.
New Direct Routes from Abuja to Heathrow and Gatwick
According to a statement by Air Peace spokesperson Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the airline will begin non-stop flights from Abuja to London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports starting October 26, 2025.
This development positions Air Peace as the first local carrier to connect Nigeria’s capital directly to both of the UK’s premier international hubs.
“This provides a distinct competitive advantage, enabling passengers to travel between Nigeria and the United Kingdom with greater ease, efficiency, and value,” said Osifo-Whiskey.
Seamless Connectivity Across Nigeria
Passengers from any of Air Peace’s domestic destinations will now be able to book connecting flights to London via Abuja on a single ticket, eliminating the hassle of multiple bookings and baggage re-checks.
Travellers arriving in Nigeria from London will also enjoy smooth onward connections from Abuja to:

Enugu
Benin
Warri
Owerri
Kano
Yola
Gombe
Asaba
Additional domestic destinations are expected to be included soon, further enhancing Air Peace’s reach.
