Despite serving the force for 25 years, he received only ₦10,000 in support after suffering a stroke and brain damage over a year ago.
In the emotional footage, the officer’s daughter expressed her family’s struggles, stating that they had sold their properties and begged for help from the police department, but to no avail. She also called out the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), labeling it a scam for failing to provide adequate healthcare support to retired officers like her father.
