The National President of the Afenifere National Youths Council, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, has been abducted. The group confirmed the incident in a statement, revealing that Ojajuni was kidnapped on Monday, February 17, 2025.
According to Abiodun Aderohunmu, the National Secretary of the council, the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N100 million for his release.“The Afenifere National Youths Council is deeply distressed by the kidnapping of its National President, Prince Eniola Joseph Ojajuni, in Abuja, Nigeria,” Aderohunmu stated.
This unfortunate event took place yesterday, and the abductors have set a ransom demand of N100,000,000.“Prince Ojajuni sustained a gunshot wound to his buttock during the attack.
We are gravely concerned about his safety and well-being, and we urge the kidnappers to release him unharmed.“Prince Ojajuni is a respected leader and a staunch advocate for youth empowerment and national development.
“We call on the Nigerian authorities to take swift and decisive action to secure his safe release. We also appeal to the public to provide any relevant information that could assist in his rescue.“ The Afenifere National Youths Council remains committed to ensuring Prince Ojajuni’s safe return and will continue to advocate for the security and well-being of all Nigerians.
