A distinguished group of African leaders and influencers including several prominent Nigerians have been recognised in the 2025 edition of the “100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa”. The annual honour celebrates individuals who have made significant strides in peacebuilding, humanitarian service, and social development across the continent.

The announcement was made during the “Peacebuilding Roll Call” unveiling ceremony on Wednesday in Abuja. Organisers commended the honourees for their contributions to unity, progress, and compassion in their various fields.
